Showing and Hiding Systems

To turn a system on or off, press and hold on its icon. For more granular control, tap on a system’s icon to display plus and minus buttons which allow you to add and remove layers within that system. The skeletal system includes layer maps, featuring bone parts, bone surfaces, and muscle origin and insertion points.

Restoring Hidden Structures

When a system contains structures that have been hidden or faded, a small marker will appear beside that system’s icon. To return all structures within the system to being fully visible, select the system icon and then ‘Show Hidden’.

Skeletal and Connective Tissue Systems

Each component of the skeletal system is richly detailed, with the intricate surface anatomy of each bone available to be explored via the Parts and Surfaces layers (available with upgrade).

Vascular: Venous and Arterial

Follow the route that blood takes through the veins and arteries around the body. Trace the path from the heart to a selected artery using the Origin Path feature. Turn on either the the Arterial or Venous system to see the Beating Heart. You can quickly turn the Beating Heart on/off by double tapping on the heart.
