Welcome to the fourth in our Anatomy Dissected series on the cranial nerves. We hope the series has been informative and easy to follow.
This week, Dr. Chukwudi Ekomaru uses Complete Anatomy to explore Cranial Nerve IV (the trochlear nerve), which is responsible for innervating the superior oblique muscle of the eye. By the end of this video you will be able to:
- Identify the course of the trochlear nerve.
- Explore the function of the muscle it innervates.
- Understand some of the common clinical conditions associated with this nerve.
As always, you can follow along using Complete Anatomy, and if you don’t have it already, you can try it for FREE for 3 days. Stay tuned for next week, where we’ll be covering CNV (the trigeminal nerve) in detail.
We’d love to hear any feedback you have on our Anatomy Dissected series, so be sure to head over to our YouTube channel to leave a comment and subscribe.
