How to Use Recordings
You can access Recordings from the Main Menu on the right-hand-side of the screen. Browse the Recordings by group and body area. More information on sorting is available in the Sorting section below.
Selecting a Recording
A list of Recordings is displayed in the panel, containing its title, creator, user-rating and a preview image. You may add a Recording to your Favourites by tapping the star icon. View a Recording by tapping its thumbnail.
The Recording loads fullscreen on your device and plays automatically. Along the bottom of the screen you will see the time indicator and a timeline containing the frames of the Recording. You may need to adjust the volume on your device to hear the voiceover, if present. Tap the screen at any time to pause the playback and interact with the model. Tap the flashing thumbnail at the bottom of the screen to resume from where you paused. Skip backwards by tapping a previous frame. When you’re done, you can Rate the Recording along the top of your screen. Tap Exit Recording to return to the Main screen.
To create a new Recording, set your model to the position you’d like to start at, and tap on the green Record button under the Main Menu. This button can also be found at the top of the Recordings panel. Tap the Record button in the center to start. Allow Complete Anatomy to access your microphone to include a voiceover.
All interactions will be saved to the Recording. Your voiceover will be recorded simultaneously as you interact with the model on-screen.
A timer will appear in the bottom left corner, showing the current length of the recording. The timer also includes the button to end the recording, as well as access to the Magic Marker.
While recording, you continue to have access to the full suite of Tools, allowing you to edit the model as you go along.
Using the Magic Marker
Draw attention to an area of the Screen while recording using the Magic Marker. Select the Magic Marker button, and use as a pointer by tapping or dragging on screen to temporarily highlight. The Marker disappears when your finger is lifted, and will be saved as part of your Recording. For drawing on the model or screen, try the Pen Tool.
Not quite right? Discard and try again. Good to go? Save your Recording by choosing the Group to save to, the body area it’s related to, and add a title and description. Tap on Save when done. You can replay your Recording at any time by selecting it from the Recordings panel.
Access options for a Recording by selecting the purple tab overlaying the preview image. This will present a draw containing Copy, along with Edit and Delete options if you created the selected Recording.
Copy to Group
Select the Copy icon to be shown a list of Groups that you can share the Recording with. Tap ‘Done’ when you have chosen all the Groups to share the Recording with.
Select the Edit icon to be brought into Edit mode. Here, you can change the details of the Recording, including its title.
Choose Edit Audio to enter Edit Mode. This will load your Recording, and prepare it for the editing process. Hit the red Record button to lay down new audio from the beginning of your Recording, or hit Play to find a particular segment you’d like to re-record. You’ll find the Start and Stop Recording button in the panel along the bottom of your screen.
Choose the Frames button on the right of your screen to see the timeline of your Recording. Select any Frame to navigate to the start of that segment. When you’re finished, hit Done and choose whether to Save or Discard your changes, or to continue editing.
Tap the Delete button to remove your Recording. You will be asked to confirm the Recording’s deletion.
Sorting options appear at the top of the panel. These options allow you to tailor the content you see.
Sort by Group
Sorting by group allows you to view the contents of your preferred group.
Sort via Region
When a body region is selected, Recordings will automatically sort to show items relevant to that region. To change region, tap the current region name or the Isolate Region button in the bottom left of your screen, and choose from the list.
When viewing the Full Body, the list sorts according to the Body Area visible on screen. You can also navigate the list of Recordings manually. Scroll through the list of body areas to find the relevant region.
