How to Use the Cut Tool
Accessing the Cut Tool
You can access the Cut Tool by selecting Tools from the Main Menu on the right side of the screen.
Using the Cut Tool
Start a cut by dragging across the structure on the model you’d like to cut. The Cut tool acts on one structure at a time.
Access the different types of cuts using the options along the bottom of the screen. The cuts available are Cut Above, Cut Below, Cut Between, Cut Hole, Cut Left, and Cut Right.
‘Cut above’ cuts the structure above the drawn line. This option is selected by default when opening the Cut tool.
‘Cut below’ cuts the structure under the drawn line.
‘Cut between’ allows you to set an upper boundary, and a lower boundary, and removes the part of the structure between the two.
‘Cut hole’ allows you to make a hole in the structure.
‘Cut left’ cuts the structure to the left of the drawn line.
‘Cut right’ cuts the structure to the right of the drawn line.
Rotating the Model
To rotate or zoom into the model, tap Done in the top right corner and navigate the model as normal.
Undo and Redo
Undo and redo cuts using the buttons at the top of the tool selection panel.
Clear cuts using the button at the left of the Tools bar when the Cut Tool is selected, or clear all Tools using the ‘Clear’ button in the top left of the screen.
