How much does Complete Anatomy cost?

The app is free to download across all platforms, with access to the Skeleton and Connective Tissue systems. Register for a free 3D4Medical Account to access a selection of the app’s Tools and additional structure information.
 
Productivity apps: iPad, Mac or Windows
To access the full anatomical model, including 12 body systems, along with the full range of Tools, content creation and sharing features, you can upgrade on iPad, Mac or Windows through an in-app purchase of $44.99 USD (or local equivalent). Purchasing one of the productivity versions gives you access to a 50% discount off any other productivity versions, or $15 off the iPhone app.
 
Companion app: iPhone
An iPhone companion app, featuring the model and systems, is also available $29.99. The iPhone version is ideal for catching up on your study on the go, with a simple interface and condensed functionality.
 
Courses
You can also choose to purchase Courses, either with or without purchasing the Upgrade. These are guided lessons through anatomical topics, and can be accessed from any device that runs Complete Anatomy. The app features the following 12 systems; Skeletal, Muscular (7 layers), Connective Tissue, Arterial (including the Heart), Venous, Lymphatic, Nervous (including the Brain), Respiratory, Digestive, Endocrine, Urogenital, and Integumentary.

What device(s) is Complete Anatomy compatible with?

The productivity version of Complete Anatomy (including the atlas, tools, and sharing features) is currently compatible with iPad (2017), iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air (all models), iPad Mini 4, macOS 10.11 and later, and Windows 10 computers and tablets.
 
The companion version of Complete Anatomy (including the atlas) is compatible with iPhone 5s and later.

Yes. One Upgrade purchase is required for each platform you intend to use (eg iPad, Mac, Windows 10, iPhone).

What is the difference between Complete Anatomy and Essential Anatomy?

If I purchase the iPad version can I access on my iPhone / Mac / Windows for free (and vice versa)?

If you’d like to run the app on multiple platforms, separate purchases are necessary. The reason for this is that each app runs on a completely different software platform. Because of this, apps for each platform have to be developed from the ground up and sold separately through their respective stores.
 
However, if you have purchased a productivity version, you can avail of a 50% discount off the original price of other productivity versions, or a $15 discount off the companion iPhone version.
 
Courses are available across all platforms with one purchase, and do not require separate purchasing on each platform.

Should I choose the Regional or Systemic Undergraduate Course?

The Undergraduate Human Anatomy Systemic and Regional courses are suitable for new users without a basic knowledge of anatomy, students taking anatomy for the first time, or for those desiring an in-depth and thorough anatomy review prior to beginning an upper division course. Both courses contain the same level of content information, however the teaching resources (Lectures, Recordings, Screens and Quizzes) are arranged differently. Help! The 3D4Medical Store won’t accept my credit / debit card!

This issue is directly related to your banking institution. Certain banks may have restrictions on international purchases (we are an Irish company, and are located in Dublin, Ireland). As such, customers need to contact their banks directly and ask them to allow payment for ‘3D4Medical Limited’.

Can I use Complete Anatomy for iPhone without using Complete Anatomy 2018 on another platform?

Yes! With the upgrade for Complete Anatomy for iPhone, you have access to the full anatomical model, along with a large library of pre-prepared content from the 3D4Medical library. You can also choose to purchase and access Courses in the iPhone version.
 
To edit or annotate the model, to save content, and to create and share with groups, you will need the productivity version of Complete Anatomy, available on iPad, Mac, and Windows.

Does Complete Anatomy include male and female models?

The male model is included, and we plan to introduce the female pelvis model to Complete Anatomy for iPhone in early 2018. The full female model will be released in late 2018.

Your iPad or iPhone app is crashing/freezing on my device!

First, close the app and restart your device! It works wonders!

Still having problems? It sounds like the app may have become corrupted during the download process. A delete and reinstall usually solves corrupted downloads.

  1. Press and hold the app’s icon until the “x” appears. Tap the “x” and confirm to delete.
  2. Press the Home button to return home.
  3. Open the App Store, sign in with your Apple ID, and navigate to our app. Select Download.

How do I restore my in-app purchase without having to pay again?

Don’t worry, you won’t be charged again. Apple will never charge you twice for an in-app purchase already purchased. Just be sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the original app and in-app purchase. Once you’re signed in, select Restore.

Can I get a refund for your app?

In order to receive a refund, please contact Apple. As our only distribution channel is through the Mac and iTunes App Stores, Apple control all customer financial transactions, and we’re unable to process refunds. Just click the Report a Problem link on the receipt you received from Apple.

I cannot hear the audio pronunciations in your apps!

It could be that the mute button has been activated on your iPad. To check, using the Control Centre, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and search for the ‘Bell’ icon. Tap on it and you will see the words Mute: Off. Tap anywhere on the screen to close the dock.

Do I need an internet connection to run your apps?

All of our apps are fully functional with the need for an internet connection, except for Complete Anatomy. Some features in this app require an active connection.

Are your apps available in languages other than English?

We have only two apps available in several languages – Heart Pro III (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Spanish) and Skeleton System Pro III ( English, German and French).

Do you give discounts for purchasing more than one app/or offer bundles?

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to offer discounts. All customer financial transactions flow through the Mac and iTunes App Stores and Apple simply do not provide us with a vehicle to do so. Will you support your Pro Series apps to be compatible with future versions of iOS?

We plan to update our Pro Series to be compatible with the next version of iOS 11, and this will be the final update to this series of applications. Users should check this update to discover next steps for continuing in their anatomical education.
